Ashland CERTís Fall "Intensive" Basic Training Course is offered FREE to residents of Jackson County interested in being prepared. The course is also required to establish volunteerism within CERT. There will be future opportunities to participate in the sought-after CERT training in 2021. Participants must attend each session in full including all four evenings and two Saturday sessions.

Training consists of more than 25 hours of instruction split into four evenings and two Saturdays to accommodate work schedules culminating in a final exercise. NOTE: Participants must attend and complete all training modules to complete the course.
Classes are held in Ashland (locations TBA)
For the final disaster simulation please dress for all weather and wear pants and boots or sturdy sneakers. The CERT office has basic protective equipment for you to wear if you do not bring your own (such as hard hat, safety vest, work gloves, goggles/sunglasses, and knee pads). You must wear PPE during the simulation for everyone's safety.
