The
Senior Services Division of the Ashland Parks and Recreation Commission enhances the lives of seniors by promoting healthy aging, well-being, dignity and independence. We empower older adults as valued, contributing members of the community and together advocate for the diverse needs of the seniors and their families throughout Ashland.

The Division offers many services and a variety of free or low-cost recreation, fitness, social and education opportunities activities at
Ashland Senior Center and other locations.
Supportive Services
The Division provides information, referrals, and many onsite services to support seniors and family caregivers. Services are provided directly by our staff and trained volunteers or in collaboration with our many partners from other local community organizations.

Recreation, Fitness and Social Activities
Enjoy free weekly game groups, movies, and a discussion group. A line-up of ongoing weekly movement classes and special seasonal classes are offered for a small fee, with scholarships available.

Food & Friends Lunch
Our partner Rogue Valley Council of Governments (RVCOG) offers in-person dining at Ashland Senior Center. A nutritious lunch meal is currently served Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $2.75 for older adults over 60, and a charge of $6.75 for those under 60. Food & Friends also offers Meals on Wheels home delivery for qualified seniors. Call Food & Friends at 541.734.9505 for more information and to apply.
Ashland Senior Advisory Committee (ASAC) advises Ashland Parks and Recreation Commissioners on matters related to the Senior Services Division and advocates for the needs of seniors.
