INFORMATION ON POOL CLOSURES DUE TO SMOKE
The occurrence of smoke events and poor air quality can impact our ability to open the Daniel Meyer Pool throughout the day. In order to efficiently communicate pool closures due to poor air quality and plans for re-opening we will be using the Nixle system that will send you our updates to your mobile device or e-mail.

You can call the Daniel Meyer Pool for current conditions at 541-488-0313.  Whenever Department of Environmental Quality AQI Readings are in the "Unhealthy" category the pool will close and staff will be unavailable to answer calls at the pool.  Please visit the City of Ashland Smokewise page for more details on current air quality and advisory levels.

Be aware that it can be difficult for staff to answer phone calls or update phone messages due to prolonged closures. We appreciate your understanding!

If you would like to sign up for notifications for pool closures due to smoke or inclement weather, text DMPOOL to 888-777. (Note: Those who register for swim lessons will automatically receive communications; however, you will have the ability to opt out.) You can also sign up directly by filling out this form:
