HUD awards approximately $250,000 in Community Development Block Grants to Ashland each year carry out a wide range of community development activities directed toward providing affordable housing, revitalizing neighborhoods, economic development, and providing improved community facilities and services. Each community that receives HUD funds develops their own programs and funding priorities. The 2000-2004 Consolidated Plan outlines the goals the City of Ashland has established to best address the needs of our community.
NOTE: The 2005-2009 Consoplidated Plan for Use of CDBG funds was published in May of 2005 and is the current plan. This 200-2004 is provided only for historical reference.
