Contractors doing work in the City of Ashland can obtain non-plan review, residential electrical, plumbing, and mechanical permits online using the State's ePermitting website: http://www.oregon-epermitting.info/
Permits
Permits are required for any new construction and alterations and additions to existing buildings, including structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, manufactured dwelling, boiler, and elevator work. However, there are some exceptions to permit requirements. If you aren't sure whether or not you need a permit, please call the Community Development Department at (541) 488-5305.
Fees
The fees listed below are intended to provide a general overview of the Community Development fee schedules. Because the fees vary from project to project, we encourage you to contact the Community Development Department at (541) 488-5305 for a fee estimate based on your specific project.
All Community Development permits can be applied for at the Community Development front counter, located at 51 Winburn Way, just off the plaza next to Lithia Park.
