Ashland Parks & Recreation Commission (APRC) Adapted Programs are specifically designed for people with developmental, intellectual or physical disabilities. The programs are designed to focus on each individual's personal abilities and interests. As with most Ashland Parks & Recreation programs, pre-registration is required. To register for any of the Adapted Programs, please call the APRC office at 541-488-5340 (online registration is not available).
NEW PARTICIPANTS: Please complete the Adapted Supplemental Form and return it to the Parks office prior to the start of your program.
Friday Night Social Join us every month for an evening of laid-back fun with games, movies, snacks and crafts! This is a chance for a bit of parent or caregiver respite. All participants should be able to cooperate in a group environment. If 1:1 assistance is needed, participant must bring their own attendant (no extra charge). Gluten-free food choices available. ScienceLIVE! NEW PROGRAM!
Join ScienceWorks for an interactive, hands-on activity blending art and science! We will create our unique take-home science project, and then join ScienceWorks instructors for a ScienceLIVE! Demonstration. This demonstration will be open to the general public, and will
be adapted with inclusion in mind. All ages are welcome to attend. Attendees under the age of 12 or who are unable to operate in a group setting are required to have a parent or caregiver present.
