APRC aims to provide recreational programs and events to promote emotional and physical wellbeing for community members. Course proposals are reviewed by APRC staff and approved based on different factors. Proposed schedules and class details are contingent on facility availability and subject to modification by staff.
- Instructors are subject to City of Ashland and APRC requirements for classification as an "Independent Contractor." This may include a contractual agreement with stipulations for general liability coverage, passing background check, and holding a business license with the City of Ashland.
- Independent Contractor Instructors are typically paid 60% of all fees collected for each class facilitated.
- Course proposals must be submitted by the advertised deadline for inclusion into the APRC Recreation Guide.
