Ashland Parks & Recreation Commission (APRC) Adapted Programs are specifically designed for people with developmental, intellectual or physical disabilities. The programs are designed to focus on each individual's personal abilities and interests. As with most Ashland Parks & Recreation programs, pre-registration is required.
To register for any of the Adapted Programs, please call the APRC office at 541-488-5340 (online registration is not available).

NEW PARTICIPANTS: Please complete the Adapted Supplemental Form and return it to the Parks office prior to the start of your program.

3rd Annual Autumn Dance
Come and have an evening of music, dancing and fun at our seasonal dances!  Dress up in your best outfit or go casual, it doesn't matter!  All that matters is showing up and having a good time.  Food and drinks provided!  This program is for individuals with special needs and their families and friends.  Pre-registration and an adapted supplemental are NOT required.

COST               $5 paid at the door

Friday Night Social
Join us every month for an evening of laid-back fun with games, movies, snacks and crafts! This is a chance for a bit of parent or caregiver respite. All participants should be able to cooperate in a group environment. If 1:1 assistance is needed, participant must bring their own attendant (no extra charge). Gluten-free food choices available.

                        (There won't be any Social in September or December)

COST              $10/night

ScienceLIVE!  NEW PROGRAM!
Join ScienceWorks for an interactive, hands-on activity blending art and science! We will create our unique take-home science project, and then join ScienceWorks instructors for a ScienceLIVE! Demonstration. This demonstration will be open to the general public, and will
be adapted with inclusion in mind. All ages are welcome to attend. Attendees under the age of 12 or who are unable to operate in a group setting are required to have a parent or caregiver present.
