Please by mid-May for updates on scheduling, programs and swim lessons. All information will be updated on this page as it becomes available.

We are working towards opening the Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool for the Summer 2021 swim season using guidance from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to keep everyone safe in our facility during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are developing procedures to meet social distancing, masking and disinfection guidelines, which will require extra time for staff to keep the facility properly maintained.  We appreciate your understanding as we work to safely re-open.

Status Update for Opening the Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool:
We are currently recruiting for lifeguards and swim instructors and application deadlines are set for April 16, 2021 at 12 p.m.  Visit the City of Ashland Employment Site for details and to apply.

Successful candidates will be certified and trained in the middle of May to prepare for an early June opening target.

Changes to pool operations for Summer 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic:

  • Please arrive dressed and ready to swim if possible.  Limit time spent in the locker rooms to restroom use and changing clothes only if necessary
  • Lockers and showers will not be available for use.  Prepare to keep all belongings with you on the pool deck
  • Swim sessions will start and end promptly at scheduled times.  All guests must exit the pool immediately at the conclusion of the swim session
  • Check back to this website regularly for updates. As OHA guidelines and risk levels change, the pool schedule may also be adjusted to meet requirements
  • All guests are required to wear face coverings, over the nose and mouth, at all times except when in the water
  • If possible please pay using credit/debit card or purchase punchcards for quick entry
