Physical Space

Physical space is our parks, trails and open space. During a public health emergency some of these areas may be closed, or restrictions may be enforced (all park rules remain in effect).

Currently, most parks and trails are open, with social distancing requirements in place. Park and trail users must keep a minimum of six (6) feet distance from others and wearing a mask is recommended. Some single-track trails in the Ashland Watershed are now signed as one-way to prevent face-to-face encounters. Due to narrow trails, steep terrain and/or poison oak, stepping aside can be challenging. Learn more about the trails in and around Ashland at ashland.or.us/ParksMaps
