Facilities/Outdoor

APRC facilities can be rented for private events such as weddings, receptions, meetings, picnics, and family gatherings. Reservation and use permits are required for all outdoor special events including, but not limited to, walkathons, concerts, festivals and weddings. Some events require Parks & Recreation Commission or City of Ashland formal approval before the event can be scheduled. (Is your event for the public? Learn more.) The following facilities are available:

Garden Way Park
The Garden Way Park covered picnic area is available for rent for $75 for up to 4 hours. The park is approximately 1-acre and features a picnic area, a community garden and an playground. The park is located on the corner of Clark Street and Garden Way in Ashland.

Lithia Park Group Site Rentals
APRC has several group sites in Lithia Park that are available to reserve, including the Butler Memorial Bandshell - Learn more.

North Mountain Park Pavilion
The North Mountain Park pavilion is located at 620 N Mountain Avenue in Ashland and features picnic tables, benches and sand play area. The park is open dawn to dusk. Propane BBQs are allowed (bring your own). No amplification. Note: Designated parking areas are shared with the athletic fields and therefore parking is not guaranteed; however, street parking in the neighborhood is available.
