Seasonal Changes Due to the Pandemic... Happenings in Lithia Park are going to look a little different this summer...
UPDATE: Due to unhealthy air conditions and rising COVID numbers, the concerts have been canceled for the remainder of the season. The City Band Concerts will resume on Thursday, July 22, and continue through Thursday, August 19! Enjoy a free concert every Thursday evening from 7 to 8 p.m., at the Butler Memorial Bandshell in Lithia Park. Bring a picnic dinner and remember that alcohol is not allowed in parks. Please BYOC (bring your own chair) or blanket and don't forget family and friends!
The popular Lithia Park Nature Walks will resume in August and continue through the end of September, every Thursday or Saturday at 10 a.m. The walks are offered at no charge and are led by trained volunteer naturalists on an easy, interesting, 1.5-hour nature walk through Lithia Park. Topics include: trees, flowers, birds, climate, water, geology and the history of the park. Plan to meet at the front entrance of Lithia Park.
Learn more about the man who started the walks in 1989 and view stats! You can also take our self-guided tour through the park.
