Previously known as a "Firewise" Assessment, this risk assessment offers a 60-minute, one-on-one inspection around your home and property with a member of our staff or a certified volunteer to evaluate the wildfire risks within your home ignition zones. This is a great opportunity to identify fire hazards, discuss risk reduction options, and address concerns specific to your home, property, and immediate neighborhood. This service is FREE and currently available to all residents within the city limits of Ashland. SIGN UP HERE.

Ashland's Firewise USA neighborhoods typically host Wildfire Preparedness Day events within their community groups. These are usually neighborhood vegetation clean-up activities but can be a number of different activities to build community within your neighborhood. If your neighborhood isn't an organized Firewise USA site already doing something like this, find out more HERE on what you can do with your neighbors!
Ashland Fire & Rescue, in collaboration with Recology Ashland and the Fire Adapted Ashland Committee (FAAC), are happy to host a FREE Green Debris Drop Off Day, traditionally at least one event in the first weekend in May for all Ashland Residents. Click HERE for more information.
