“Clean Up Your Green Debris, Be Fire-free!”

Ashland Fire & Rescue, Recology Ashland, and the Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network
are proud to announce the 12th Annual FREE Green Debris Drop Off Day!

Sunday, May 7th, 2023
8:30AM - 3:30PM
Valley View Transfer Station
3000 Valley View Road, Ashland OR

We have just secured funding for hosting the Green Debris Drop Off day in 2023! I apologize to everyone for the delay in getting information out. Recology Ashland has confirmed a date and time for this year's event.
2023's Green Debris Drop-off Day will again be on a Sunday!

Create a Fire Adapted yard before fire season starts by removing the “fuel“ from a potential wildfire.
Due to limited funding, we currently have only one (1) Drop-off day scheduled this year. Drop-off days have been hosted by AF&R for the past 11 years to help reduce costs in removing flammable vegetation around your home. Challenge yourself and your neighbors to bring as many Green Debris loads as you can!
Drop off your green debris free of charge!

ACCEPTED MATERIALS: Only organic green debris will be accepted.  This includes leaves, pine needles, small branches (up to 6 inches in diameter), brush and other green debris.

PROHIBITED MATERIALS: Please leave trash, stumps, logs, firewood, soil, dirt, rocks & treated lumber at home.  If you bring your green debris in bags, the bags need to be emptied and taken home.
