Ashland Public Arts Commission Chair Sandra Friend presented Council with the yearly Commission update. It was also announced that after a decade of hard work Sandra would be resigning from the Commission in April. The Council thanked her for all of her hard work, passion, organization and dedication.

Council approved to award a professional services contract with HDR Engineering Inc. in the amount of $3,662,659 for phase 2; final design of a new 7.5 MGD Water Treatment Plant. Council also directed Staff to look into the ISI's Envision Program standards at the platinum level with a primary focus on energy efficiency & generation; and to bring back information of options for what would need to be done to meet these standards at the 60% design level.
