Controlled Burn Planned Near Four Corners on Friday, January 10th

On Friday, January 10th a controlled burn is planned for community wildfire safety near Four Corners in the Ashland watershed. The controlled burn could have some smoke impact on trails in the area. There are no trail or road closures.

Conditions for burning are good with a weather system that will move smoke away from town.  Controlled burns are a critical part of creating a safer, more resilient landscape and community in the face of increasing fire risk due to climate change and overgrown forests.
