Special Event Request Information

Applicants requesting to hold special events or outdoor activities in Park areas, including Lithia Park, must complete a APRC Special Event/Outdoor Activity Application.* If your event occurs exclusively on Park property, with no street closures, a City Special Event Permit is probably not required (more information below).

Before completing the online application, please keep the following in mind: Complete the APRC Special Event/Outdoor Activity Application. *This form is for Special Events that are open to the public and must be approved by our Volunteer & Event Coordinator, Sulaiman Shelton. This form is not for private events. For information on planning a private event, please email or call 541.488.5340. 
 
Please note: A City of Ashland Special Event Permit is required for planned activities (races, parades, festivals, demonstrations, film and video, etc.) that occur on City of Ashland streets, parks, sidewalks or other public grounds.
