Avista Utilities has released an updated press release with updates on the scope and status of the current natural gas outage affecting a large portion of the City of Ashland. The affected customer count has been revised up to 4,500 in the general service area between the Ashland airport and downtown.
The press release provides an explanation of the process that Avista will undertake to safely restore service in the affected area.
