The City of Ashland wants your thoughts on homelessness
The City is developing a master plan to guide the City of Ashland's investment to help alleviate issues of homelessness. The plan will help define the City’s role in providing and supporting resources and services that address the issues of homelessness locally and regionally. The objectives include an evaluation of the existing homeless response system; identification of local and regional strengths, weaknesses, and performance gaps; and a review of the funding mechanisms that support this work. As part of this process, the City is interested in hearing from Ashland residents to better understand the community’s experience of homelessness and the community’s preferences and priorities for effective interventions. The link below will lead you to a brief questionnaire, which should take less than five minutes to complete. Your input is highly valued, and the City appreciates you taking the time to complete this brief questionnaire.
This questionnaire is one of five questionnaires developed by a subcommittee of Ashland citizens to help inform the work described above. Subcommittee members are also currently gathering feedback from people with lived experience of homelessness, from Ashland businesses, from educators and other staff working in the Ashland school district, and from service providers who primarily work with people experiencing homelessness.
Should any member of the public wish to fill out one of the questionnaires mentioned above, or for any other questions or concerns please contact Linda Reid, Housing Program Manager, by phone at 541.552.2043 or by email.
