ODOT OR66 Bridge Repair Project

Beginning next Thursday night, August 14, 2023, the first section of the bridge deck will be poured.The plan is for crews to be on site around 10 p.m. to get equipment set up and water down the existing concrete surfaces. Concrete is scheduled to arrive around 2 a.m. and the pour is anticipated to take six to eight hours. Flaggers will be in place slowing traffic down in both directions for most of the day on Friday, August 15. The purpose of slowing traffic down, primarily trucks, is to reduce the impact (bounce) on the bridge, as too much movement in the bridge will increase potential cracking in the newly poured deck. Once a firm timeline for future pours is determined additional updates will be posted.
