Ashland Forest Resiliency will Continue Controlled Burns on April 4th
On Thursday, April 4th Ashland Forest Resiliency Partners will manage three controlled burns for community fire safety.
Granite Street A controlled burn will be managed by the Ashland Forest Resiliency. The pile burn is on a small area off Grandview near Lantern Hill Drive. Smoke could be in the surrounding area off upper Granite Street.
Hald Strawberry Park In Hald Strawberry Park, a controlled burn to consume piles will be managed this morning. Streets and the neighborhood around Hald Strawberry Park may have some smoke. Please keep your doors and windows closed.
Windemar Drive A pile burn will be conducted south of Ashland off Windemar Drive. Smoke could impact the neighborhood around Windemar and Timberlake Drives. Smoke will be visible from Interstate 5 and on the south side of Ashland.
