Lithia Park Master Plan; MIG, Inc. to Present to the APRC

MIG, Inc. to Present at the Regular Meeting for the Ashland Parks and Recreation Butler-Perozzi Fountain in Lithia Park Commission (APRC)

On Monday, March 26, at 7 p.m., at the APRC Regular Meeting, a lead consultant from MIG, Inc. of Portland will present the Foundation Report, an integral piece for the Lithia Park Master Plan. This master plan will guide the management of the resources, facilities and visitor experiences over the next 100 years, ensuring that Lithia Park continues to shine as Ashland’s jewel.

The Foundation Report is based on the team’s field work, site analysis, review of key planning documents and the historic record and public input received to date. The report will also provide a common basis of understanding of park elements for the community, APRC and the design team.

Beginning March 30, 2018 you will have the opportunity to share how you experience Lithia Park, via an online interactive map/survey. The map/survey will be available through April 30 at ashland.or.us/LithiaParkMasterPlan. In addition, DESIGN WEEK will take place June 12 – 15 (new dates), and will be your chance to further share your ideas for Lithia Park and help with the planning process. You may also share your ideas by emailing
ParksInfo@ashland.or.us.
