Detective Sgt. Bon Stewart

Bon moved to Ashland in 1992 after a tour in the Air Force and traveling. He started working for Ashland Police Department in 1998. He started as a 9-1-1 dispatcher. Bon has been a Patrol Officer, Detective, School Resource Officer, Training Officer, Officer in Charge, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Physical Fitness Instructor, Less than Lethal Munitions Instructor, and Use of Force Instructor. He was promoted to Patrol Sergeant in November 2018. Bon is currently the Detective Sergeant overseeing the Criminal Investigations Division.

Bon also teaches citizen groups best practices for responding to an Active Shooter Event.
