Bias and Hate Crime Hotline

City of Ashland logo Hate crimes and bias incidents are on the rise both in Oregon and nationally. Bias incidents and hate crimes sometimes target specific individuals, they often violate an entire group or a community’s sense of safety and belonging. Graffiti on walls, fliers, anonymous emails and language meant to harass individuals convey intolerance that impacts all of us.  We want Ashland and Oregon to be welcoming and inclusive.  The Social Equity and Racial Justice Advisory Committee reminds residents to report incidents of hate and bias to the Oregon Department of Justice (DOJ) Bias Hot Line. To learn more about the hot line and to report an incident of hate or bias please visit DOJ Bias and Hate.
