UPDATE: Severe weather overnight shelter open the evening of Nov 19 AND 20

Severe weather UPDATE: The overnight weather shelter will be open Nov 19 AND Nov 20, opening at 5 p.m. both nights and closing at 9 a.m. each morning.

ORIGINAL POST: Due to forecasted cold temperatures, the Severe Weather Shelter, at 2200 Ashland St, will open for the night of Sunday, November 19. This Shelter is managed by OHRA, Opportunities for Housing Resources and Assistance, who will coordinate and staff with OHRA employees and volunteers.

The shelter will open at 5 p.m. on November 19 through Monday, November 20, at 9 a.m. This is a low barrier, no frill, overnight shelter for anyone needing to get out of the cold. The doors close and lights out by 10 p.m.
