Ashland Watershed Wildfire Update: 7/13 at 10:30am

There is a wildfire currently burning in the Ashland Watershed above town. Crews and aircraft from the U.S. Forest Service Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest have been working on the fire since early this morning and have an initial containment line and hoses on the fire, currently held at 2 acres.

There is no threat to the community. Smoke will continue to dissipate throughout the day. Please see the Forest Service webpage for more information.

Notifications through the City's Citizen Alert system were sent to all residents who have opted into the system at 7:34am and 10:21am today. If you did not get an alert, please go see this press release about opting in to our system.
