CEAP Plan Review
Ashland’s Climate Energy Action Plan (CEAP) includes Firewise and Forest Restoration. The Forest Lands Commission made a presentation to the Mayor, Stef Seffinger and the City Administrator about goals and actions pertaining to forestry. The City is hiring a staff person to manage and implement the CEAP Plan. Council has decided to dedicate an Ad Hoc committee to work with this staff person. This commission may have a liaison going to these meetings. There will be recommendations in the community fire plan that includes information about the CEAP. Place this on the agenda for September for a long agenda item.
