Young clarified that the Lithia Artisans Guild has contributed $13,000 towards the restoration of the Calle and has earmarked $3,000 for public art in the Calle.
The commission discussed the importance of establishing a timeline to include, construction, fundraising efforts, call for artists and more. This will be covered by the Calle subcommittee. Bayard expressed interest in involving the public art study group in the fund raising efforts.
