The City of Ashland Transportation Committee has three (3) vacancies. If you are interested in serving on this committee, apply

In addition to looking for new members, the Transportation Committee is currently collecting data to use to understand and improve the transportation network for all modes of transportation. To help with this, the City has created a
Near Miss form, where users can promptly report a near miss experience.
A “Near
Miss” is an incident in which no property was damaged, and no personal injury was sustained, but where, given a slight shift in time or position, damage or injury easily could have occurred. You can also log a survey for a traffic accident that did not produce injury or enough damage to be officially reported.

What to expect if you apply to serve on a committee or commission: The Ashland City Council will appoint qualified applicants following an interview process. Questions can be directed to the City Recorder office via
