Present: Vavra, Keil, Ashworth, Churchman, Gibb
Topics of discussion included:
1) Review of wording for Feb 5th report to City Council, recommending extension of levy for 4 years (to expire in 6/13) for an amount as yet undetermines. By July, we may have a better idea of amount required, depending on level of county support.
2) Dates and format for public input meetings. Possible series of 3 meetings, as follows:
a. March 13, Funding for Library Operations
b. April 23, Governance and
c. May 29, Evaluation of level and cost of service
Also discussed possible processes for public meetings, including large troup format with each person allotted 2žu3 minutes for input and/or use of small group discussions with facilitators.
3) Future meeting dates as follows:
a. January 31
b. February (report to council); !4 and 28 (no study session of 2/7)
c. March 13 (public input); 27
