Hosler Dam Failure Study Map

This map depicts the channel of Ashland Creek where it passes through town, and illustrates the potential paths of water flow during a dam failure event, and during flood events. The background is a shaded relief model of Ashland, with the inundation & flood paths shown over it as transparent and crosshatched areas. The original was displayed at a public meeting regarding implementation of a dam failure warning system. It can now be seen at the Ashland Engineering Division offices. Due to the level of detail the file is quite large and may be difficult to download without a high-speed internet connection, such as a cable modem or AFN.
