The City's financial software update in now complete

UPDATE on the City's Financial Software: Thank you for your patience as the City updated it’s financial software. The web portal for Utilities is now available for use. You can now login to your City account at selfservice.ashland.or.us/css (bookmark the new URL). Instructions are available at this site for first time users. 

In addition, the interactive voice response that customers use to pay their bills over the phone and kiosk are also both available. Community Development is back in service for Building Permits and Land Use Applications.

The City of Ashland will be upgrading its financial software, December 4-7, 2023.
 This upgrade may affect Utility Billing, Planning, Building, Public Works and Courts. Services such as the interactive voice response system that customers use to pay their bills over the phone, the web portal and kiosk will all be unavailable. We appreciate your patience during this time as we perform this important upgrade.

Utility Billing
During this time, the interactive voice response system that customers use to pay their bills over the phone, the web portal and kiosk will all be unavailable. We appreciate your patience during this time as we perform this important upgrade.
 
Other ways to pay your bill include:
  • The white payment drop box on the Plaza in downtown Ashland (drop box is adjacent to the mailbox on the Plaza) – or see drop box at the corner of City Hall at 20 E Main St (Note: City Hall remains closed to the public.)
  • Mail your payment to 20 E Main St, Ashland, OR 97520
 
If you have any questions or concerns, email us at utilitybilling@ashland.or.us. Please expect a response within 48 hours. Utility Billing is open for in-person service on Fridays at The Grove from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Grove is located at 1195 E Main St in Ashland.
 
Community Development
Permitting and payment collection will be temporarily unavailable at the Community Development Dept. during this scheduled upgrade. Building Permits and Land Use Applications will be processed in the order received once services are restored. Department staff will be available by phone and email as well as in-person at 51 Winburn Way, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Phone: 541.488.5305. Planning Division Email: Planning@ashland.or.us.
