The City of Ashland Conservation Division offers energy and water conservation expertise, programs and guidance to Ashland residents, as well as offering assistance and connections to resources for air quality and recycling programs and activities.
The Division has a variety of water and energy conservation programs available to residents of Ashland, including residential and commercial water and energy audits, appliance rebates, weatherization, zero interest loans for heating and cooling systems, etc.
Water and Energy Rebates
Rebates for purchases of qualified Energy Star appliances, or WaterSense labeled 1.28 gallon per flush toilets, are available to City of Ashland electric and water utility customers using a simple one page form, along with proof of purchase receipt.
The Conservation Division also provides staff support to the Ashland Conservation Commission, a Mayor appointed Commission that makes policy and program recommendations to the City Council on issues relating to electric and water conservation, new power resource opportunities, and general community education and advocacy for resource conservation.
