
Hunter Park is approximately 10 acres and is located on Homes Avenue between Walker and Normal Streets. The park has eight tennis courts, ballfields, picnic areas, restrooms and the Daniel Meyer Memorial
Swimming Pool. In the winter of 2017 a new playground was installed (featured in the photo to the right).
The tennis courts lights can be activated by players between the hours of 4 and 10 p.m.
Hunter Park tennis courts host tournaments throughout the year. Signs will be posted on courts a week before the event. Please be advised that there will be limited courts on the following dates in 2022:
April 2-3, 4 Courts reserved before Noon, 6 courts in the afternoon of Saturday and Sunday
May 6-8, 4 Courts reserved until 6pm
June 10-12, 4 Courts reserved until 6pm
July 8-12, Big Al's Tennis Tournament, all courts reserved for the duration of the weekend
Sept 16-18 Wild West Tennis Camp, 4 Courts reserved, 9am-12am only
Sept 23-25, 4 Courts reserved until 6pm
Oct 1st, courts will be inaccessible from 8am to 12pm due to the Tri4Youth Event. For more info on this event please

The Daniel Meyer Memorial Swimming Pool is outdoors and is open mid-June through Labor Day Weekend.
