Fall Basic Training 2023
Below, is the Fall Basic Training schedule:
Training is broken up into numerous modules over two weeks including
October 6,7,13,14. See schedule below:

Friday, October 13 5:30-8:30 PM |
Saturday, October 14 8:00-5:00 PM |
Training consists of more than 20 hours of instruction split into smaller modules culminating in a final exercise. NOTE: Participants must attend and complete all training modules in full to become certified.
Ashland CERT’s Basic Training Course is offered twice annually and is FREE to residents of Ashland and the surrounding area who are interested in being prepared for disaster. Course completion is required for anyone seeking to establish volunteerism within CERT.

For the final disaster simulation please dress for all weather and wear pants and boots or sturdy sneakers. The CERT office has basic protective equipment for you to wear if you do not bring your own (such as hard hat, safety vest, work gloves, goggles/sunglasses, and knee pads). You must wear PPE during the simulation for everyone's safety.
