This permit is issued to allow a temporary closure of a residential street or alley for the purpose of entertainment to benefit the immediate neighborhood.

Ashland Municipal Code (AMC) Chapter 13.02.040 states that no person may occupy or encroach upon a public right-of-way without permission of the City in the form of a franchise, license or permit. The City Manager has authorized the Public Works Administration Department to issue Residential Block Party permits on the City’s behalf. For more information, please call 541-488-5587.
