North Mountain Park has two playgrounds (Park Map - PDF format), and an artistic spiral serpent sandbox, all of which are designed for youngsters ages 1 to 8. A bike trail winds through the park and connects Mountain Avenue to the upper portion of the park. There are also two softball, two baseball, and one large soccer field in the upper portion of the park along with two concession buildings housing bathrooms and drinking fountains. Parking is available in the upper lot (near the substation), north of Hersey Street along Mountain Avenue, and just north of the Nature Center.

Rent the pavilion...
The pavilion is now available for private, special events such as birthday parties and family gatherings. The fee is $75 for up to 4 hours.
