APRC 2022 Fall PlayGuide, What to Do!

APRC Fall PlayGuide The APRC 2022 Fall Community PlayGuide is now available online and registration is OPEN! APRC is excited to provide recreational and educational programming for the citizens of Ashland! This guide will offer programming through December 2022.
 

Parks & Rec Happenings:
 
RECREATION - The Ashland Rotary Centennial Ice Rink will open for the season on Saturday, November 19, 2022! Our seasonal ice rink will offer skating opportunities in a beautiful setting! Offerings include:
  • Rec Skate
  • Frozen Tots (for younger skaters and their families)
  • Beginning & Figure Skating Instruction
  • Hockey (youth and adult)
  • Private Lessons
  • & more!
The ice rink is located at 95 Winburn Way. Learn more at ashland.or.us/IceRink, and watch for details of our annual First Frost celebration on ice on Saturday, December 17, 2022. We hope you and yours can experience one of the most magical places in Ashland… that little outdoor rink in beautiful Lithia Park, where the air is fresh, and the white lights are twinkling.

VOLUNTEER - We can’t bring you our annual events without the help of volunteers! We are seeking volunteers for Bear Creek Salmon Festival, Tri4Youth and the opening celebration of the Ashland Japanese Garden. For more info about dates and shifts, please reach out to Volunteer Coordinator, Sulaiman Shelton at 541.552.2264 or sulaiman.shelton@ashland.or.us. PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION - Parks and Recreation Commissioners hold their regular business meeting the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. Study Sessions are typically held the 1st Wednesday of the month. Check the APRC public meeting calendar at AshlandParksandRec.org. You can also learn how you can participate, contact the Commissioners, and view Commissioner bios and goals, agendas and minutes.
 
 
SENIOR SERVICES - Our Senior Services Division enhances the lives ​of seniors by promoting healthy aging, well-being, dignity and independence. We empower older adults as valued, contributing members of the community and together advocate for the diverse needs of seniors and their families throughout Ashland.
