Air Quality Advisory Issued for Southern Oregon

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued an air quality advisory Wednesday for Southern, Central and Northeastern Oregon due to smoke from fires in Oregon and Northern California that is expected to impact the Ashland and surrounding communities until Friday, August 6th. Current conditions are rated at unhealthy, please take additional precautions listed here.

Unhealthy conditions mean according to the CDC: Everyone may begin to experience health effects; members of sensitive groups may experience more serious health effects.

El Departamento de Calidad Ambiental de Oregón emitió un aviso de calidad del aire el miércoles para el sur, centro y noreste de Oregón debido al humo de los incendios en Oregón y el norte de California que se espera impacte en Ashland y las comunidades circundantes hasta el viernes 6 de agosto.
