City of Ashland and Smokewise Ashland Air Purifier Program - Apply Now!
The City of Ashland has received additional funding for more air purifiers from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality(DEQ). The applications to determine qualification will be received electronically. Starting in July of 2020, the City of Ashland and partners with Smokewise Ashland have distributed 500 air purifiers to people who are most vulnerable to smoke. As defined by the Center of Disease Control, persons under 15, adults over 65 and those who have pre-existing conditions including heart and lung disease, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are most vulnerable to smoke. If you have household members who are at risk, we encourage you to apply.

La ciudad de Ashland ha recibido fondos adicionales para más purificadores de aire del Departamento de Calidad Ambiental de Oregon (DEQ). Las solicitudes para determinar la calificación se recibirán electrónicamente. A partir de julio de 2020, la ciudad de Ashland y sus socios con Smokewise Ashland han distribuido 500 purificadores de aire a las personas más vulnerables al humo.
