Controlled Burn Planned up Wagner Creek Road on Thursday, February 11th
Southwest of Ashland and Talent up Wagner Creek Road, crews with Lomakatsi Restoration Project will manage a controlled burn for the Ashland Forest Resiliency on Thursday, February 11th. The controlled burn is expected to have minimal smoke impacts in town but, some smoke could drop to lower elevations in the evening hours around upper Wagner Creek Road. Areas closest to the controlled burn may have smoke during the day. Smoke will be visible from Interstate 5 and parts of Talent and Ashland.

Smokewise Ashland has a limited supply of air purifiers available and is currently accepting applications for persons who are sensitive to smoke. If members of your household are under the age of 15, over 65 or have pre-existing heart or lung, asthma or COPD we encourage you to apply by midnight on February 21st.
