Council approved a Liquor License for Peerless Hotel, LLC. For more information click here.

Council approved a Liquor License for Greenleaf Restaurant.  For more information click here. 

Council approved appointment of Robert Kaplan to the Climate Policy Commission. For more information click here. 

Council approved the contract award for design services for the Daniel Meyer Pool Replacement project with Robertson Sherwood, Architects P.C. For more information click here. 

Council approved ​a contract for professional engineering services with RH2 Engineering in the amount of $298,452 for the Comprehensive Sanitary Sewer Collection System Master Plan. For more information click here. 

Council approved a ground lease agreement with the Land Manatee Foundation and directed Staff to bring back a report in 2 years.  For more information click here.

Capital Needs and Financing Bond Proposal

Council moved direct staff to produce the documentation to move forward with a $8.2 million 20-year General Obligation Capital Bond with a tax rate of $0.2090 per $1,000 of assessed value to pay for the construction of a City Hall, structurally rehabilitating the Community Center and Pioneer Hall, for the May 12, 2020 Jackson County election.  For more information click here.

Council directed Staff to work with the architects and have an expert in restoration work do a preliminary design and consult with the Historic Commission on what they would support in terms of the design of City Hall.
