Reeder Reservoir: Controlled Burn Planned Friday, January 24th - Some Smoke Impact
UPDATE: Smoke from today's controlled burn is drifting over Four Corners and Lamb Saddle trailheads and towards upper Tolman Creek Road including the Green Meadows neighborhood. Please avoid Toothpick, Catwalk, Lizard, Lewis Loops, Marty's and Lamb Mine trails until later this afternoon.
Crews will manage a controlled burn above Reeder Reservoir today for community wildfire safety. Smoke will be visible from parts of town.
To stay informed of controlled burn activities, a news feed is posted on our website ashlandwatershed.org. Each day, the news feed is updated as changes happen. After having smoke regulator approval and when we have good weather conditions, controlled burns may be added.
