Tuesday, February 19th: AFR will Burn Piles Today Above Strawberry Lane Near Acid Castle Rocks
On Tuesday, Feb. 19, Ashland Forest Resiliency Partners will conduct a controlled burn above Strawberry Lane adjacent to Acid Castle Rocks. To avoid possible smoke on the Hitt Road Trail we recommend recreating on trails above Lithia Park. Though conditions predict smoke to move away from town, homes in adjacent areas may smell and see smoke during the day and evening. Please keep windows shut and follow recommendations on the Smokewise Ashland website to protect your health. Smoke will be visible from several parts of the community including Interstate-5.
