Two Pile Burns Planned for Thursday, February 14th

On Thursday, Ashland Forest Resiliency Partners will conduct two controlled burns west of Ashland. One burn is located above Talent off Wagner Creek Road.   A second burn to consume piles is planned off Yank Gulch Road in the same area between Ashland and Talent. Smoke may be visible from Highway 99 and I-5.

The Ashland Forest Resiliency Stewardship Project (AFR) is a collaborative forest restoration project that reduces the risk of severe wildfire across public and private land in and around the Ashland Watershed by thinning overcrowded forests and conducting controlled burns.
