Two Controlled Burns Planned Today

This morning, crews from Lomakatsi Restoration Project will assess two different locations for a controlled burn and you may see or smell light smoke close to: Quail Run Road between Ashland and Talent and off Timberline Terrace in central Ashland. Although the burns are close to town and important areas to reduce fire danger, smoke will likely not impact Ashland or Talent.

Check our controlled burn page and see the AFR Blog on pile burning to learn more.
