Emergency Severe Weather Shelter Extended to Saturday Morning

The acting City Manager has authorized the extension of the emergency severe weather shelter.  The shelter will be extended for Thursday and Friday nights February 24th and 25th due to continued severe weather conditions forecasted.  The shelter will continue to be held at Pioneer Hall.

The shelter will open its doors at 5:00 PM.  The doors will close for the night at 9:00 PM with lights out at 10:00 PM, the shelter will close for the day at 9:00 AM.  The shelter will be located at Pioneer Hall, 73 Winburn Way, Ashland.  This will be a no frills shelter, please plan on providing your own bedding.  The shelter will be observing Covid safety protocols as set by the CDC.  Social distancing will be observed and masks will be required and are available on site. Kids and pets welcome.
