Controlled Burn Continues near Four Corners on Saturday, March 10th, 2018

CONTROLLED BURNS:
Crews will continue a controlled burn ˝ mile south of Four Corners over the weekend. We expect these controlled burns could produce some smoke around recreation trails including Marty’s and Catwalk Trails plus upper Tolman Creek. The west side of the watershed is a better place to recreate if you are sensitive to smoke

Controlled burns under safe conditions reduce the risk of severe summer wildfires and protect our forests, water supply, economy, and community.  Recently, AFR Partners published a blog on the benefits of pile burning.
