https://zoom.us/j/96222303966 The City of Ashland adopted Wildfire Hazard Mitigation Standards earlier this summer and we are nearing the implentation date for the new measures. Beginning October 1, 2021, all new residential structures within the city limits will be subject to the Wildfire Hazard Mitigation Requirements (R327).
The intent of these requirements is to provide minimum standards that reduce or eliminate ignition potential by using exterior products that resist ignition and protect specific vulnerable areas including rain gutters, roofing, ventilation, exterior walls, and eaves from ember ignition threat.
