 ***PLEASE NOTE Weed Abatement***
Because the city is at an extreme fire danger level and under a red flag fire weather warning, now is not the time to cut dry vegetation.  Attempting to cut weeds or dry grass would increase the risk of accidental fire, and any such efforts need to be delayed until conditions change.  Please do not attempt dry vegetation removal work at this time with any powered equipment or other tool that might produce a spark.  If you feel the use of a chainsaw is required within the City of Ashland to remove fallen tree limbs, please contact Ashland Fire & Rescue at 541-552-2220 to request a permit. Please call 541-482-2770 for all general questions relating to the Fire Department.
Thank you.

The Code Compliance program includes enforcement of conditions of approval for all Planning Actions, follow-up on Building Code violations, weed abatement, nuisances, vision clearance, sign permits and other sections of the Ashland Municipal Code.
